Rachael Wood is an established session guitarist, composer and teacher.

 

Rachael started teaching 20 years ago, and has seen student successes with professional guitarists and songwriters under her guidance. She has a first class honours degree in Guitar from BIMM, has studied orchestration certificates at Berklee, and has a wealth of knowledge from over 20 years of professional gigging as both a guitarist and Musical Director.

 

Rachael has performed Worldwide with artists such as Sinead O’Connor, Skunk Anansie and Katie Melua, and is currently lead guitarist for cult indie band The Wedding Present. 

 

Rachael has also written articles for UK magazines “Guitarist” and “Total Guitar”, and if not on the road is usually tweaking guitar sounds and writing in her her professional home studio in the UK.
